Le concert qu'Eve Egoyan a présenté au FIMAV le 22 mai dernier a reçu des critiques élogieuses de la part de la presse.

Pour sa première apparition au FIMAV, et dans le cadre enchanteur de l’Église Saint-Christophe d’Arthabaska, EVE EGOYAN a présenté un récital de piano dont la pièce centrale était « Asking », composée spécialement pour elle par Maria de Alvear il y a un peu moins de vingt ans. La pianiste travaille avec cette compositrice depuis 1996. Cette œuvre introspective, d’une grande beauté, s’intéresse aux différentes significations du mot « demander ». Sa structure ouverte impose de nombreux choix à l’interprète.
