Pianist and performance artist Guy Livingston offers the perfect antidote to the traditional piano recital. Livingston crosses borders between classical and jazz, documentary and imagination. Impeccably researched and performed with virtuosity, these programs transport the audience, and transform the concert hall environment.
Based in Paris and the Hague, American pianist Guy Livingston has performed all over the world, notably as soloist with the Chicago Symphony, the Orchestre Nationale de France, and as a recitalist at the Centre Pompidou, the MuziekGebouw, the Library of Congress, The Louvre, and Lincoln Center. He has recorded for New World, Wergo, Transatlantic, and Mode Records.
His podcasts and radio shows (American Highways, The Bug, Under/City/Sound) are available on iTunes, and he has a musical artwork on the International Space Station, orbiting earth every ninety minutes.
